Remember when you used to make rubberband guns? Well these are rubberband guns taken to the next level.

Make Blog is a very cool technology blog that I recently discovered.

The Spidron is a planar figure consisting of two alternating sequences of isosceles triangles which, once it is folded along the edges, exhibits extraordinary spatial properties. The Spidron can be used to construct various space-filling polyhedra and reliefs, while its deformations render it suitable for the construction of finely adjustable dynamic structures.

Yeah that was gibberish to me too, but go look anyway.

Hilarious Star Wars English Subtitles from a bootleg DVD in China.

This game took up hours of my time when I first found it.

Ethics in digital manipulation.

“A good retoucher can basically make the person in the picture look better, enhance the way they look,” says Betts, who was also a former top fashion editor at Vogue. “They can do anything. They can open eyes wider, make them brighter, change the shape, contour the face a lot.”

As a practiced Photoshop professional, I would say this is essentially a gross understatement. While the statement : “They can do anything” is true, the explanation falls far short. By anything, it should be understood to mean quite literally - ANYTHING. The only limits are imagination, time & budget.

Sewing machine illustrations.

The Camera Is the Film—Rethinking Digital Photography

The point is that each camera has characteristics that are as individual as brands of film had. This leads me to believe that most photographers, whether pros or hobbyists, will eventually have numerous cameras, not the one lone Nikon with the lens collection.

A colorchart made from Flickr photos.

Common recently teamed with MK12 to produce this stunning video.

A new bingo variation has surfaced. Hipster Bingo!

Microsoft believes that the iPod will face much stronger competition than it has done in the past as new products from rival companies are released in the run up to Christmas.

You know why the Ipod is on top? It's not the product it's the marketing. There are better mp3 players out there with more features for less money, they just don't market well. People are buying the name, not the player.

Remember that guy that was making furniture out of Fed Ex boxes? He recieved a cease and desist order from Fed Ex. Damn the Man!!

Matt Wagner's Batman project sounds interesting. Why does everything have to be a "Year One" story though?
