I have a very large comic book colection, but they are not old enough to sell for allot of money. I checked wtih different comic book shops and if you don't have the really old ones they are not interested. I wanted to know if anyone new what I could do with them because I don't want them anymore and I don't want to throw them away or give them to sombody who will destroy them. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
I went through the same thing a few years ago. In fact, I didn't even have any comic book stores in the area, so I had to go out of town to find some. I ran into the same issue - they would not buy unless I had really old or rare comics. What I ended up doing was grouping them into individual comic book titles (Like a separate group for Spiderman, and a separate group for Fantastic Four, etc.) and selling them on Ebay. It worked out quite well, and I made pretty good money off of them!! Out of a huge box I had, I was left with a stack of maybe 20 odds and ends now. I'm not sure what I will do with those, though.
Secondly, if you are not interested in making money off of them, you can go to www.freecycle.org. Register with the group in your area, and you can post an offer ad for your comics. This website strictly runs off of giving and taking for free, so if you are interested in getting even a little bit of money, that site won't be good for you. So, try Ebay, and maybe whatever you have left over you can give away on Free Cycle.

Thanks to Spacekicker on YouTube for his great Blue Beetle Primer. Check out more of Spacekicker’s comic book videos at:

We’ve got a Newsarama Review of She-Hulk #26. In this issue She-Hulk’s has some identity issues and is questioning whether or not she’s a hero. Spoiler Alert: She-Hulk gets her pants blasted off!
We also review Marvel Zombies 2 #5. We’re not completely thrilled with the final issue of this series. It felt like the characters were a bit removed from their environment.
Comic Book Comics deals with the history of comic books in the form of a comic. It truly represents what a comic is all about and we think it’s really well done and a great read for beginners.
In the Speed Round we review Shadow Pact #22, The Flash #237, Immortal Iron Fist:One-Shot, Zorro #1, and The Spirit #14.

I'm designing book covers for a college project. Two book covers will be on the theme of tragedy and two will be on the theme of comedy.
Does anyone know any objects, events, situations that are comic and tragic that I can take my own photographs of?
What do you think of when you think of tragic things? It could be anything you want - I think dying your hair the wrong color can be tragic - maybe you should put a picture of L'oreal Hair Dye and put a picture of Carrot-top next to it, maybe you can find one of him making a shocked face and looking towards where you put the L'oreal
LOL - you can kill two birds with one stone for that cover. In all seriousness, sometimes photos can be of nothing and be the most interesting. What is it that you feel when you think of something tragic, what colors do you see? what comes to mind? what makes you laugh? it doesn't necessarily have to be what other people find funny. You need to create a feeling with artwork….I hope that helps in some way.
V2 YOUR ANSWER RULES
- LOVE IT

I’m looking to put on a drama production. However we are looking for a play we can buy either outright for for the night? However something free would be best =]
And we want a comedy?
Any Suggestions?
The easiest thing to do would be Shakespeare, because the fella’s dead and anyone can do it. Having said that, it may be a little hard to perform if the company you’re working with has limited theatre experience.
Or, you can even get some friends and write some sketch comedy!

How does he define comedy in his book, "The Definition of Comedy," and does Lysistrata meet the requirements? What is the effect of using these techniques?
A couple things. First, "Lysistrata" is a successful comedy by anybody's definition–otherwise it wouldn't still be making people laugh 2200 years after it was written.
Beyond that; WHOSE book "The Definition of Comedy"? WHAT requirements? WHAT techniques?
On second thought, don't bother answering my questions. You clearly want us to do your homework for you.
