Just like ppl tend to be afairyists, asantaists, aunicornists atheists dont believe in a god before acctual evidence is presented for the existence of one.
Not believing something exists before its proven that it does is the most rational position to take. This is what atheists do.
Just like not believing in santa, faeries, unicorns before the existence of them is proven to you atheists dont believe in a god.
Its all based on the null hypothesis. And btw there is no atheist doctrine.

Atheists dont say they know a god does not exist.
Atheists tend to be agnostic atheists, they dont believe there is no god, but they dont claim absolute knowledge.
Just like most people dont believe that unicorns exist, but to claim to be absolute sure no unicorns exist would be silly, just like you cant know for sure there isnt a god you cant know for sure there arent any unicorns.

I find it funny, though, that while we atheists have no proof there ISN’T a god (because it’s impossible to prove a negative), you probably believe that there is a god, and it happens to be the specific Desert God of War known as Yahweh. How do you know it’s not Allah, Zeus, Thor, or even some god you’ve never heard of?
Agnostic atheists believe there is no way of knowing 100% there’s no god. But we’re pretty sure the gods of all these baseless religions don’t exist.

Only because you missed the point. Research the issue more and you’ll see that science’s lack of understanding regarding ecosystems did not prevent the FACT that the sun was not needed. Therefore, the burden is on both of us. You cannot state that something is not without proof, just as I cannot say something is, without proof.

at this point in time, regardless of my beliefs i have no burden until you give evidence of your claim. For example, if i walked up to you and told u i could survive a shotgun blast to the face, since that’s unlikely you might tell me to prove it. At that time it would be unreasonable for me to tell you to prove to me that i wouldnt survive it, id have to back up my claim.
