    Props to Akala, the …
Props to Akala, the most lyrically talented rapper in the UK hands down.
And I hate to try to ’steal his light’, but a lot of people commenting are getting the wrong side of hip hop. It’s not easy to find, because it’s the commercial stuff that’s usually ignorant. But if you want to hear some ‘conscious’ rappers you should probably check out Common, Mos Def, Talib Kweli and NaS (even though NaS is turning a bit mainstream).
Obviously there are others, but they were the first that came to mind.

    You are the Present …
You are the Present and Future of British Hiphop Akala.

Anyone else think Akala should not be clased as Grime, Akala does not put out the same negativity, mindless egotisticly spwaned expression of agression and vioence i hear in most Grime.

    I don;t know so i’m asking.

But i put Akala in a class of his own.
