Glenn Beck Common Sense Tour 2009. “Stall” Promo. Glenn hits his teardrop quota, with 2 minutes of solid blubbering.

i’m in college and …
i’m in college and i have to watch glenn every day just to bring back some common sense. These liberals at this school are so in love with this administration that it just makes you wonder if they actually care about our country or care more about looking cool. Go Glenn. You are honestly the only person on television that seems to care only about what is best for this country adn not what is best for a particular party or viewpoint.

LoL @ republicans …
LoL @ republicans in bathrooms.
LOL @ anyone who listens to Glenn Beck on American history. Remember his version includes Jesus coming to America, and that Native Americans have the mark of Cain.

As to “Christian …
As to “Christian Nation” ranks. That’s not exactly true. The founding fathers were religious men, not necessarily beholding to a specific doctrine, but all agreed to a higher power. Which is why the motto is “In God We Trust” and not “In Jesus…” or “In Jehovah…” etc.
All were quite interesting characters in and of themselves, not just Jefferson. Nevertheless, ALL believed in a smaller government (a Republic) that feared the people and worked for the people. That is historical fact.

Spoken like a good …
Spoken like a good Soros talking point stooge.
Actually, It’s the more I (not them) read about history, yes, the Federalist Papers being one of them. The more I learn that the filter I was taught through (public school system) was total and complete crap. I still find it amusing how general the left is with this and cannot cite specific things that are being “spun”, “twisted” or even “lied” about.
I find the more I study US history and original documents, the more I realize how wrong you are
By boohowdy on May 9, 2009
Beck does the same …
Beck does the same thing. So does Hannity, as all of them do. Simply because you heard of the Federalist papers because of Beck doesn’t make him a historian, just another cherry picking opinionated television personality. This is obscenely evident in these people’s “Christian nation” rants, since they ignore writing by Jefferson and others, including treaties of the US, to make their absurd claims.
Enjoy learning about American history through a filter.

The typical …
The typical argument is always “they twist the facts” and yet they are the only ones that cite their sources and allow you to verify yourself. Likes of Olbermann and Matthews just rifle off a bunch of accusations and then continue without any proof of their arguments. That makes me suspicious. It also proves to me that they are wrong because when someone reverts to exclusive name calling they have proved to me they already lost the argument.
By richcsst on May 9, 2009
Well, using the …
Well, using the writings of the founding fathers of the US as the basis for their arguments, I would like to know what exactly are they “bending”, as you say, about history?
Having read books like “The Federalist Papers” and such, written by many of those who’s signatures are on the Declaration of Independence and other founding documents, I would say that what I was taught in puplic school was twisted and a complete lie. The fact men like Glenn say find out for yourself, makes bending hard
By boohowdy on May 9, 2009
I’m sorry but I …
I’m sorry but I have seen everyone you listed use “history and evidence” to back up their claims.
I’ve also seen every single one of them bend history to their arguments, so what is the difference?
By richcsst on May 9, 2009
People with no …
People with no talent have ratings like Olbermann and Matthews. I’m surprised they pay the guys so much for a mere thousands in viewer ship. Hmmm… The likes of Beck, Hannity, O’Reilly, Greta, etc. have ratings the highest of all of them combined. What’s funny about O’Reilly is he’s not even a “conservative”. Oh sure, he’s no liberal, but he is not right nor left. You can have Jeraldo back though.
The difference is Glenn uses history and evidence to back up his ertions, KO & CM don’t.
By boohowdy on May 9, 2009
If you can’t see …
If you can’t see that Glenn Beck is nothing more than the Right Wing Chris Mathews or Keith Olberman, then good luck to you.
You can continue on in your attempt to deduce further meaning from my statement, if you like.
By richcsst on May 9, 2009
Oh that’s right, …
Oh that’s right, only liberals have the mental capacity and “right” to dismiss the comments of anyone with beliefs and ideas contrary to the “intellectual superiority” of the liberal. Such things as history, truth, personal responsibility, learning from the past, integrity etc. are all the blabberings of the mentally challenged and under-informed religious conservative right wing nut jobs.
Yeah, honesty and common sense can’t be trusted. It must have a hidden agenda.
By richcsst on May 9, 2009
Sure you have. …
Sure you have. Nevertheless everyone is free to have their opinion, unless of course they are a conservative, then they deserve to be stopped because they all idiots and hacks with mental issues.
What I find amusing with the left is they always call people “turds” or “hacks” or “liars” or “hatemongers” and such, but they fail to back up their claims with facts or content, and when they try they use an out of context sound or video bite it just bites them in the end when the truth is shown.
By boohowdy on May 9, 2009
I’ve listened to …
I’ve listened to his radio show for years, don’t dismiss my comments.
I do not need to watch his TV shows to know he is nothing more than a hack.

By judedelux on May 9, 2009
mdsz: What you lack …
mdsz: What you lack in readg comprehension you try to make up with spinning. Since Beck the Turd does not display any type of talent or valve other then providg the simple minded and uneducated white trash of this country Jerry Springer type entertainment I watched the video to view perhaps a side of the Turd he doesnt normally show.
I was wrong. He also lacks comedic talent & wit along with all the other deficiencies such as truth, common sense, intellect, education and American loyalty.
By mdszierer on May 9, 2009
Well, I guess I …
Well, I guess I respectfully still don’t accept that. Your buddy watched it, sent it to you and you watched it. Regardless of your reasoning, you watched it. Glenn Beck has risen from a virtual nobody among average American’s (non-political activists) to someone who is 3rd in ALL cable shows, liberal, conservatives or moderates. So that goes to show you that people are interested in hearing him and his common sense. And the fact that he can use comedy just makes him even stronger.
