    Silly boy. Are you implying women only laugh when they’re ? Ever heard of Dave Hughes?
    See I said I wouldn’t have a man who was sexy but lacked substance. On the flip side, and this is where I unshamefully admit, I wouldn’t touch a man I didn’t find attractive.
    Unfortunatley for you Mr. Allen’s wit and intelligence does it for me and so long as he left his glasses on we’d be fine. He’d have to be a few decades younger, ofcourse.

    I only ask that comedians have substance in place of a publicity-generated image. It is hyped as ‘hip’ to dig Russell Brand, Ricky Gervais etc. That doesn’t put them in the same class as George Burns, Lenny Bruce, Billy Connolly, George Carlin…AND when you admit that you’d Woody Allen for his comedic genius then I’ll concede that girls go to comedy shows to get wet . . . laughing

    If Danny Bhoy is “charmless” then why would girls (as you so eloquently put it)
    “just wanna him”? He is good looking, sure, but a woman wouldn’t bed the most attractive man in the world if he had nothing else going for him.

    Another thing: Danny Bhoy from 2007 is good, but Danny Bhoy from 2009 is better. He has improved timing, great audience sensibilty and is as lively onstage as ever.

    Also, if the man has fans enough to defend him then he can’t be as as you think.

    Of course opinions are like bottoms, we all have them, and we don’t have to admire each others.
    I think he’s pretty funny, never thought I was being “hip”, wouldn’t want to be.

    McGeachan IS a dull …
    McGeachan IS a dull person, but he also appreciates a laugh. If you want to hear a Scottish comedians, then can I suggest Bruce Morton, an Irish comedian Mr Andrew Maxwell, or an English comedian Rob Newman (pre-his smug, self-regarding ‘pseudo-political’ schtick.)

    He is the antithesis of comedy. No timing, lame ‘material’. He is charmless, as engaging as a chicken in a gas oven. Girls just wanna him, guys think (wrongly) that it is ‘hip’ to watch him. Do you want me to carry on or shall I sit down now?
