   Buffy peaked at season 5. its had its moments since but for me its lost everything that made it fun to watch. I bought the comic for a while but the only arc i enjoyed was the one written by Brian K. Vaughn

   also the thing about Buffy this time was that it felt like a catch up issue, even though they never really follwed up on much, it was like scatter everyone just to bring them back together quickly and “oh by the way” Twilight has control over demon armies who are able to drive tanks…..and look there’s Oz! *frustrated squiggle*

   That issue of BtVS …
   That issue of BtVS was probably the best written of series since Vaughn. I always contest that Whedon’s best work is when he’s not the writer. So it breaks my heart to disagree with Alex!

   I just realized that you three don’t wear wrist watches? Weird. Yeah, you know those oversized heads in cable 16 really bothered me. Eh, it’s fine I suppose. War of kings feels like it’s been going on for too long. Way to go Justin!!

    I thought War of …
    I thought War of Kings was really fast-paced compared to ‘event’ titles like Civil War or Secret Invasion - every issue comes out on time, the spin-off titles (apart from the Darkhawk lead-in to Ascension) are well-written, flab-free, and consistently on-model for the characters and story elsewhere. Good fun series so far, and that’s my opinion as someone not really into cosmic superhero stuff.

    Good show as ever, but is there a dirt track near that apartment? That’s some bad traffic noise.

    It was good for what it was. I think the decision to off Bruce came from up high so they could cash in on media attention like what happened with Supes or even Cap but I saw maybe one article on it in a british tabloid..

    everything since 12 felt like a fanfic. Plus the plot development since then could have been covered in 2-3 issues.

    I don’t know about that, I think even a Buffy in-continuity ongoing could have been great, they just needed to really know what they had planned before they set out to do it. And maybe they did–but it really reads like you’re wandering in the dark now, and pretty much everything since, yeah, issue 12 or 13 or so has felt like fan service.

    Morrison deffo ed up BIG TIME with Batman RIP and Final Crisis but it looks like he’s back on form with ‘Batman + Robin’ . He did come off an AMAZING run with ‘New X-Men’, ‘WE3′, ‘All Star Superman’ and the first couple ‘Batman’ stories - so I’ll let Final Crisis + Batman RIP slide - just this once! LOL

    I wasn’t hating, I was asking a question - hence the question mark. I actually enjoy his bravado and bold ideas in his creator owned stuff but his Marvel stuff is fun but not as good. The only thing that ticks me off about Millar is that I’ve seen him at signings, read interviews and he’s pretty full of himself. I should support a fellow Brit but the British Invasion is over. It’s all about Jason Aaron,Brian K Vaugn, Joe Kelly ETC
