    MCFarlane? I have …
    MCFarlane? I have never liked his drawing style, with the exception of some Hulk stories.

    Jim Starlin is another artist that in my opinion is worth mention, even if he hasn’t produced as much material as the others.

    Not for nothing, but you actually do agree with me. All I’m saying is that MacFarlane is not in the same league as Kirby or Ditko. You even stated that “mcfarlane might not be at the level of kirby”. I’m not saying that Todd sucks, but he can’t tell a story (ever actually read Spawn or his Spider-Man stories?) and wasn’t anywhere nearly as prolific as Kirby or Ditko. The only category MacFarlane can surpass the true legends is in his business acumen.

    How can you mention …
    How can you mention MacFarlane in the same sentence as Kirby and Ditko? I liked MacFarlane’s stuff as much as the next guy, but it’s like comparing Don Mattingly to Babe Ruth and Joe Dimaggio. No offense to MacFarlane (or Mattingly) but they fall short when compared to the legends of their craft.

    No special effects house, yet, has matched what Kirby, Ditko and MacFarlane, to name a few, can impact upon the page.

    Dr. Strange is a Dr …
    Dr. Strange is a Dr. Fate clone and Spider Man was co-designed(aka CREATED) by Kirby who, by no coincidence, drew the first cover from AMAZING FANTASY. Kirby did many more of the covers than Ditko. VERY MANY MORE! And when they worked ‘together’ DITKO WAS THE INKER. I like Ditko and he is underrated BUT he is as nothing compared to KIRBY. Same goes for Stan who for some ’strange’ reason QUIT WRITING very shortly after Kirby left Marvel. Meanwhile Kirby creates 100 new characters for DC ;-)!!!!
