I started reading …
I started reading Buck Rogers since the 25 cent, issue zero. I really like the series. Half of each story is wordy sci-fi set up, while the other half of each story is shocking sci-fi action. I haven’t read Buck Rogers before the current series but I’m really liking it.

I agree with pete that superman in world of new krypton is out of character, i mean he was sentenced to death and he had no idea zod would let him off but he didnt seem to care, he was willing to just die! THAT IS NOT SUPERMAN! superman doesnt give up, he has too much to live for, he has hive wife, his mum, his friends and his never ending battle…his dieing would help noone,, the superman i know would fight to live, to get back to lois and do wot was right for both worlds

‘92 was a good year …
‘92 was a good year. these are comic books. there’s room for light stories, heavy dramas, and everything inbetween. i personally don’t like a lot of what pete enjoys (punisher, wolverine) but i certainly don’t think pete or readers like pete are a problem in the comic industry. , readers like pete are probably the back bone of the comics industry. your point is irrelevant anyway since pete’s problem was supes seemed out of character by doing nothing at all not a lack of mindless action.

Nice review of Sherlock Holmes, I’d like to check it out.
Pete! Go back to Marvel buddy, leave the DC reviews to Alex. WoNK is Superman at his purest. The costume does not a Superman make. Superman knows Zod is testing his morals and values. It’s all about Krypton and its legacy as well as getting to the core of big blue. Superman doesn’t need to throw punches to be a hero, that should have been proven by the Blue/Red period.

PETE represents everything that is wrong with readership…
He represents the short attention span, very ignorant reader who likes big pannels with mindless action.
He cant follow any thing and doesnt understand cahracter development or story building. Heck he has proven tima and again he doenst understand basic storytelling.

Crossed has been …
Crossed has been great. Garth Ennis is putting out some great titles atm, Warren Ellis .. not so much, I do enjoy no hero but I cant see where hes going with it, I get the impression reading his stuff these days like hes just banging it out just because he has some contractual obligation or something.
I’m also kind of digging the Starro reveal in rebels, that series has been gathering a good pace so far I’m really enjoying the team theyve embled.
